- מָלַג(cmp. Syr. מלג, P. Sm. 213 1) to pluck, to strip (of hair, feathers ). Tosef.Bets.III, 19 מוֹלְגִין אתוכ׳ you may cleanse the head and legs of an animal (by scalding).
